Cast

Nyarlathotep - The household cat, and Lilah's familiar. Gets irate if not fed in a timely manner, and dreams of being an Old God. He may or may not be the avatar of Nyarlathotep from H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. (Probably not, maybe. Wait, hold on...don't eat meeeeeeeee! Ahhhhh!)

Johnny (or Johnathan) - Prefers to be called Johnathan, but everyone calls him Johnny. Sometimes feels like he's the only sane person in a house full of crazies, but he cares deeply for his roommates. He works at a dull job that he hates, but dreams of being an artist and one day publishing his own webcomic. He is a people pleaser and secretly hides a submissive streak.

Kat - She is a furry and a submissive. She can be a smart ass at times, but she's cute and hard to resist. She dated Johnathan at some point in the past, and they seem to have managed to remain friends. She may be secretly harboring feelings for him. Currently she is attached to Karl, a dominant in the local BDSM scene. She has made a few friends, including Sara, who wants Kat to set her up with Johnathan.

Lilah - The final member of this household is a witch. She is Wiccan, but loves to call herself a witch. She calls Nyarlathotep her familiar, and she runs a pretty successful healing business. She is quite the prankster, and loves pulling tricks over on people. Kat and Johnathan have never seen her with a man (or a woman), so they're not quite sure which way she swings.

Karl - He is Kat's Master. They are in a D/S relationship. He is kind to her and patient of her smart assiness. Plus, Kat and Karl is the cutest couple name pairing that I have ever heard of.

Jack - He is a member of the gaming group that includes Johnny, Kat, and Lilah. He's more of a jock geek--interested in fitness and sports. He's a loyal member of the group, although a bit hot headed at times. Though women find him attractive, the group has never seen him date a woman.

The Gamemaster (aka Steve) - The last member of the gaming group, he runs the RPGs that they play. He is currently running them in a D in D game. (That's Damsels in Distress, not the other one you were thinking.) He can be a bit difficult, and insists on everyone calling him The Gamemaster, although Johnny still calls him Steve. He occasionaly makes non-canonical appearances arguing with the author of the comic.

Lostra - This is the character played by The Gamemaster in an MMORPG called Legends of Fire. She is a wizard, and Steve plays her because he "doesn't want to be looking at a dude all day." She's not a good Duelist and loses frequently to Johnny's character.

Bron, the Barbarian - Johnny's character in Legends of Fire. In his spare time when he's not raiding, he's kicking Steve's character's butt in duels, getting massages, and killing turkeys. He's pretty one dimensional. Current whereabouts unknown. Last seen in some kind of prison.

Bar'Bra - A girl who lives in the game world, but is not part of the game. Not a player, and not an NPC, she provides the characters of the game services, such as massages, when their players are not playing the game. She had an intimate encounter with Bron and got pregnant. Has spent quite a few comics trying to evade faceless men trying to kill her. She escaped to our world through a portal, apparently winding up in the past.

Nyarl-kitty - The dream form of the household cat, Nyarlathotep. He occasionally surfaces to feed on human flesh or rampage across the landscape. Not necessarily proof that Nyarlathotep is indeed the Lovecraftian diety.

Sara - A friend of Kat's and a Domme in the local BDSM scene. She loves to whip people with a pretty purple flogger. Plays with Kat on occasion and longs to turn Johnny into her collared submissive.

The Mormons - Originally planned only to set up a gag with Lilah, the Mormons have made several appearances in the comic that upgrade them to semi-regular. They are Mormon missionaries, and go around spreading the word of their church. They are frequents visitors to Lilah, and one of them seems to have quite a fascination with her. (But it's just because he wants to save her pagan soul, honest, wink wink.) They don't have names yet or any distinguishing characteristics. They will become more fully developed as my comic ages.

Lyrsta - Kat's D in D character. She is from a race of cat people, living and adventuring among humans. She is a rogue and is responsible for keeping the party safe from traps and unlocking doors in dungeons. She leads the unlikely party on their quest. (Who thought it was a good idea to put Kat in charge of the party?)

Sir Gyle - Johnny's D in D character. He is a priest of whatever religion they worship in that world. (I haven't decided yet.) He started the party of a quest to rescue a princess cursed and trapped in a tower.

Jade - Lilah's D in D character. She is a witch recruited by Sir Gyle to use her magic to help break the curse on the sleeping princess. By her own admission, her magic cannot be used to heal, it only brings death.

Jack's Character - Jack named his character Jack, after himself. He is a monk who was recruited by the party as a last resort of breaking the curse if Jade's magic fails. He is holy and pious and it is believed that his kiss will wake the sleeping princess. He trained by walking on hot coals and sitting under icy waterfalls, but cannot withstand the cold of the highest peak in the world.

Lilah's Dad - We don't know his name yet or anything about him, but Lilah's father is obviously a member of law enforcement. He probably gets calls about her all the time

Primalust - A fictional band that is a favorite of Kat. She was introduced to the band from her first girlfriend. The lead singer seems awfully familiar.

Kat's Ex Boyfriend - A guy Kat used to date who made out with her in her car in the woods, then told her he didn't want to see her anymore because her ears were weird. She left him there and made him walk. His fate is unknown. I like to think he ran into some Deliverence type guys who had their way with him.

Goth Girl - We don't know her name, but we do know that Kat had a whirlwind romance with this woman at some point in the past. She gave Kat her first makeover as the persona Goth Kat, that she takes on when she is depressed. We don't know what happened to Kat and Goth Girl yet, but the history may one day be revealed.

Loki the Giant - A Shiloh Sheppard from our world who has somehow ended up in the game world of Legends of Fire. Returned to our world through the same portal that took him to the game world.

????? - Revealed to be the daughter of the pregnant girl who fled the game world.

Lilah's Mom - Lilah's mom is a witch with CUUPS. I wonder how she and Lilah's dad, a police officer, met and started a romance.

The Witches - I wonder who these ladies are, and if they'll have an important role later on.

Sally - A witch who Lilah met years ago before she praticed the art. Previous owner of Nyarlathotep. Sally took her own life in the present timeline, for reasons we don't know yet.
